Job summary

A leading industrial gas company in Sharjah is seeking an experienced driver to transport hazardous materials. The ideal candidate must possess a valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license and have 2–3 years of experience in transportation. Familiarity with UAE road networks and adherence to safety protocols are essential. This position ensures compliance with safety standards while loading and unloading gas cylinders.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license.
• Clear RTA driving record with no major violations.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in transportation of hazardous materials.
• Familiarity with UAE road networks and traffic regulations.
• Basic understanding of hazardous materials handling.

Skills

• Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
• Deliver our products safely in accordance with legal requirements and our own safe working procedures.
• Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with Air Products standards,
• Loading, unloading without helper and all other activities associated with product management in-line with Distribution procedures – working instructions provided by scheduler and EHS team
• Successful completion of all Workday and regulatory training as required.
• Successful completion of all the deliveries on the MOBY delivery system
• Comply with our Zero incident goal
• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure proper functioning of delivery equipment (e.g., lift gates, securing straps).
• Load and unload cylinders
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicle.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license.
• Clear RTA driving record with no major violations.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in transportation of Hazardous materials, or industrial gas delivery.
• Familiarity with UAE road networks and traffic regulations.
• Basic understanding of hazardous materials handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
