• Transport finished goods and raw materials safely and efficiently between manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and retail locations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety compliance, performing routine preventative maintenance as needed.
• Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries and optimize efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, distances traveled, and fuel/toll expenses.
• Utilize automated systems to log each stage of the loading and unloading process.
• Adhere to truck driving regulations, including size, weight, route restrictions, and break periods, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Safely maneuver trucks for loading and unloading operations.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or regulatory violations promptly.

Skills:

• Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of cargo within scheduled timeframes.
