Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a skilled technician in the UAE to perform regular inspection, servicing and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults, and attend to breakdowns at company locations and customer sites as required.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of Gulf/UAE experience, hands-on repair capabilities for diverse machinery (JCB, tipper trucks, loaders, CAT machines), and a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years UAE/Gulf experience preferred.
• Hands-on diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
• Valid UAE driving license required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspection, servicing and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment and vehicles.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults.

• Attend to breakdowns at company locations and customer/project sites when required.

• Troubleshoot issues involving engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, steering and other major components.

• Carry out routine servicing, oil changes, filter replacement and other scheduled maintenance.

• Identify mechanical problems early and recommend necessary repairs or replacement of parts.

• Maintain proper records of servicing, repairs, spare parts and breakdowns.

• Coordinate with operators and drivers to understand machine problems and operating issues.

• Ensure machinery is kept in safe and reliable operating condition.

• Respond to urgent breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.

• Follow company safety procedures and ensure all repair work is carried out safely.

• Maintain the workshop, tools and equipment in an organized and safe condition.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 4,000 per month

Employment Terms

• Company Notice Period: 1 month

• Employee Notice Period: 3 months

• Appointment is subject to the availability and approval of an employment visa and the validity of all required documents in accordance with UAE laws and regulations.

• All employment terms will be subject to the applicable UAE Labour Law and the official employment contract.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Gulf/UAE experience preferred.

• Strong practical experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.

• Experience with one or more of the following machinery is required:

  • JCB / JCB 3CX

  • Tipper Trucks

  • Shovel / Wheel Loader

  • Motor Grader – CAT

  • Roller – CAT

  • Excavator – Chain & Wheel

• Valid UAE Driving Licence is required.

• Candidates with experience across multiple types of heavy equipment will be given preference.

• Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate relevant Gulf experience and support our workforce diversity requirements.
