Job summary

Alpha Flight Services UAE.LLC in Sharjah is seeking experienced ground support vehicle operators to safely service aircraft support equipment on the airside apron. You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections, load and unload cargo, and maneuver equipment around aircraft and airport assets with a strong emphasis on safety and precision.

Candidates should hold a valid HMV DL, have at least 3 years of hands-on heavy-vehicle experience, and preferably airside airport exposure.

Qualifications

• HMV DL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years operating heavy‑duty vehicles in demanding environments.
• Airside driving experience at a commercial airport is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy‑duty vehicles such as aircraft tugs, belt loaders, and cargo transporters on the active airside apron, adhering strictly to all aviation safety regulations.
• Perform pre- and post‑operation vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical soundness and report any defects or malfunctions to maintenance.
• Maneuver large equipment with precision around aircraft, other vehicles, and airport infrastructure.
• Load and unload cargo, baggage, and other items onto and from aircraft and ground support equipment efficiently and securely.

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical soundness and report any defects or malfunctions immediately to maintenance.
• Maneuver large equipment with precision around aircraft, other vehicles, and airport infrastructure, demonstrating exceptional spatial awareness.
• Load and unload cargo, baggage, and other items onto and from aircraft and ground support equipment efficiently and securely.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License (HMV DL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience operating heavy-duty vehicles in a demanding environment.
• Previous airside driving experience at a commercial airport is highly preferred.
• Certification in Forklift Operation or other relevant ground support equipment (GSE) handling.
