Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support licensed clinical staff in hospitals and clinics across Al Ain. You will assist with basic patient care, daily activities, mobility, and safety initiatives, while upholding patient rights in a regulated setting.

The role requires a Diploma in Healthcare Assistance, valid UAE license, and a willingness to work rotational morning and evening shifts. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with UAE healthcare exposure a plus.

Qualifications

Location: Hospitals and Clinics across Al Ain
License Requirement: Valid Healthcare Assistant License
Shift Pattern: Rotational Morning and Evening Shifts
Days Off: 2 days per week (subject to shift schedules and operational requirements)

Main Purpose of the Role

To support licensed clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care within regulatory guidelines, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and support under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
• Assist patients with daily activities, mobility, and comfort measures.
• Support patient safety initiatives and participate in intentional rounding.
• Uphold and advocate for patient rights and dignity at all times.
• Maintain and monitor Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) items and equipment within the unit.
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily unit operations.
• Adhere to infection prevention, quality, and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training, education, and competency development activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education Requirements

• Diploma in Healthcare Assistance or equivalent qualification.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in an inpatient hospital or outpatient (OPD) setting as a Healthcare Assistant is preferred.
