Job summary

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort invites a seasoned Chief Steward to lead our Stewarding department with a focus on operational excellence and guest-centric service. You will oversee the stewarding team, manage facilities, and control costs while aligning with safety and environmental policies.

Collaborating with other hotel departments, you will ensure par-stock levels, schedule preventative maintenance, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across all equipment and spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel stewarding operations.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in hospitality.
• Ability to coordinate with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective stewarding department systems and methods of operation to support all other colleagues in the hotel.
• Supervise all Stewarding team members, facilities, operation and costs.
• Coordinate with hotel colleagues in maintaining par stocks and supplies, and approving storeroom requisitions.
• Ensure cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
• Schedule preventative maintenance work and coordinate with Engineering.
• Ensure that all team member are acting in accordance with Health and Safety standards, using and storing chemicals appropriately, and using all required safety materials in the safe performance of their duties.
• Play an active and leading role in the energy-conservation and environmental policies and practices of the hotel.
