The Head of Operations will oversee all operational aspects of The Code, a premium storage and logistics company based in Dubai. This role involves full ownership of warehouse management, logistics coordination, service delivery, and process optimisation.
The successful candidate will be a hands‑on, detail‑oriented leader with a strong background in managing high‑touch service operations and logistics teams, ideally within a luxury, hospitality, or white‑glove logistics environment.
You will ensure operational excellence across all service areas — from the secure storage of high‑value items to seamless deliveries and client interactions — while driving efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the storage facilities, including inventory management, warehouse layout, scheduling, and security.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and premium‑quality handling of all client items, including collections, deliveries, and installations.
- Manage logistics routes and transportation schedules for maximum efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent service excellence across all operational areas.
Team Leadership
- Lead, manage, and train the operations team, including warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics coordinators.
- Provide ongoing coaching and conduct regular performance evaluations to uphold high service standards.
- Collaborate with training partners such as Leaders Relocation to maintain a premium service culture.
- Support the team in hands‑on operations (deliveries, removals, and packing) when necessary.
Quality Control & Security
- Implement and enforce strict security and safety measures to protect client assets.
- Ensure that all items are handled and transported with exceptional care, maintaining a damage‑free record.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory systems, storage conditions, and operational compliance.
Process Optimisation
- Identify operational inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with the technical team to integrate operational workflows with The Code Portal, ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse, logistics, and client management.
- Analyse KPIs and operational metrics to optimise resource allocation and cost structures.
Client Service Support
- Partner with the Client Management team to ensure all client requests are executed flawlessly and on schedule.
- Manage VIP, time‑sensitive, or bespoke client requests, ensuring an exceptional and discreet service experience.
- Act as the point of escalation for any operational issues affecting clients, resolving matters promptly and professionally.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics, storage, hospitality, or luxury service sectors.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing warehouse or logistics environments.
- Strong understanding of process design, efficiency analysis, and service delivery optimisation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- UAE driving licence preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems; experience with tech‑enabled service platforms is an advantage.
