Job summary
Wood is seeking an experienced Head of Department in Abu Dhabi to lead the engineering discipline, ensuring the successful execution of high-profile projects. You will drive engineering excellence across Civil, Structural, and Architectural teams, maintaining the highest safety and ethical standards.
The ideal candidate has over 25 years of experience, including 5 years in a Head of Discipline role, demonstrating extensive knowledge in engineering delivery and strong leadership skills. Competitive remuneration and benefits including medical insurance and an employee share plan are offered.
Qualifications
- Minimum 25 years of experience in onshore and offshore mega projects (Capex of over 2 billion USD).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Head of Discipline role.
- Deep knowledge in API, IEC, NFPA, ISO, OSHA codes.
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering excellence within Civil, Structural and Architectural teams for onshore and offshore projects.
- Provide functional leadership to Discipline Engineers.
- Support business development activities to identify and secure new work.
