Job summary

Siemens Energy in Dubai-based MEAP&CN region seeks a Head of Service Project Management to lead the regional service portfolio, drive profitable execution, and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction across parts, repairs, field service, and outage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA desirable with leadership experience.
• Minimum 10 years in service operations, project management, or related industrial businesses with leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record delivering revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction in a multinational environment.
• Fluent in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the regional service project backlog and ensure orders convert to revenue aligned with business commitments.

The Head of Service Project Management for the Middle East, Asia Pacific region is a key leadership role responsible for the successful execution of the regional Compression Services portfolio and the delivery of committed business results.

This position leads the Service Project Management organization and is accountable for the execution of all service orders and projects across Parts, Repairs, Field Service, Long-Term Service Agreements, and major outage projects. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while driving customer satisfaction, profitability, and cash flow performance.

As the primary interface between customers and the regional execution organization, the Head of Service Project Management serves as the voice of the customer within Siemens Energy and the face of Siemens Energy during project execution. The role partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Repairs, Product Lines, and other Siemens Energy businesses to maximize growth opportunities, mitigate execution risks, and deliver exceptional customer experience.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Own the regional service project backlog and ensure the successful conversion of orders into revenue in line with quarterly and annual business commitments. Lead the execution of all Compression Service projects within the region, including Parts, Repairs, Field Service, turnkey service solutions, and major outage projects.
• Drive achievement of key business metrics, including Revenue, EBIT, Cash Collection, On-Time Delivery (OTD), Project Delivery Below Limit (PDBL), and Customer Satisfaction.
• Provide strategic leadership and governance for the regional Service Project Management organization. Ensure effective planning, risk management, resource allocation, and execution discipline across the project portfolio.
• Identify, escalated, and proactively address project risks and opportunities to safeguard customer commitments and business results. Collaborate closely with Gas Services, Steam Turbines, and other Siemens Energy businesses on multi-product and full-train outage projects.
• Act as the primary executive contact during project execution and strengthen customer relationships across the region. Serve as the customer's advocate within Siemens Energy while ensuring transparency, responsiveness, and proactive communication throughout project execution.
• Drive a “One Siemens Energy” approach by coordinating all execution-related activities and providing customers with a single point of accountability.
• Continuously improving project execution processes, governance, and performance standards across the region. Challenge execution lead times, costs, and delivery performance to improve competitiveness and customer outcomes.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all projects, repair, and field service documentation. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the organization.
• Drive margin enhancement through effective project execution, change management, risk mitigation, and opportunity identification. Continually improve project profitability with a target of increasing realized margins beyond the original sold position. Support claims management, variation order execution, and commercial resolution activities to protect Siemens Energy's interests.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse team of Service Project Managers across the MEAP&CN region. Build organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and talent development. Promote a culture centered on safety, customer focus, collaboration, ownership, and performance excellence.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA or equivalent leadership experience is highly desirable with minimum 10 years of experience in service operations, project management, order execution, or related industrial businesses, including demonstrated leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial performance within a complex multinational environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project risk, profitability, claims, and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities combined with a hands on execution mindset.
• Fluent in English. Additional regional languages are considered an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
