Overview

The Head of Sales O&G for the EMEA region will primarily have the responsibility is to drive the regions sales strategy and delivery across all sectors in region with a particular expertise in one (O&G) through a blend of direct and dotted reporting lines.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of O&G this role will be working collaboratively with end markets colleagues and other functions (Operations Engineering Strategy Services etc.) while building close internal relationships.

This strategic role is crucial for account development in planning of responsibilities of teams driving long term growth and operational excellence across different channels and in collaboration with our teams.

This will provide the opportunity for overall responsibility for the regions regional sales forecasting KPIs results and leadership as well as delivery of strategic goals in line with the sector wider End Markets teams and Rotork vision.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or recognized qualification in Engineering.
  • Good command of English (both spoken and written).
  • Significant senior sales experience in manufacturing (industrial engineering ideal) and accompanying proven track record of success likely to have been gained from at least 10 years experience.
  • Experience fulfillingwider reporting responsibilities including performance and sales plans forecastingP&L for sector/region and other KPIs.
The Successful Candidate
  • Outstanding collaborative working across a variety of business units challenging and changing siloed thinking wherever it appears
  • Portrayal of leadership of all regional sales support functions; sales support internal sales application engineering and other related back office activity plus support functions such as HR Finance Legal IT.
  • Successful leadership in managingand coaching sales team ensuring their readiness for sales actions and growth.
