Job summary

Meraki Talent is partnering with a leading global trading business to appoint a Head of Quant. The role leads the quantitative function across FX, CFDs and multi‑asset trading, owning strategic models, analytics and systematic approaches that enhance trading performance, pricing, execution and risk management.

You will work with senior stakeholders across Trading, Risk, Technology, Product and Liquidity to drive pricing, market analysis and overall trading performance.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership in quantitative function within FX/CFD/multi‑asset trading
• Strong knowledge of FX/CFD markets and multi‑asset trading
• Experience developing quantitative models or pricing methodologies
• Deep understanding of market microstructure, execution and liquidity
• Advanced mathematical and statistical modelling skills
• Strong programming skills: Python, C++, R or similar
• Experience working with large datasets and quantitative research
• Understanding trading risk and portfolio management
• Ability to translate complex quantitative concepts into commercial decisions
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the quantitative function and team across FX, CFDs and multi‑asset environments
• Develop quantitative models and strategies for pricing, execution and risk
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Technology, Product and Liquidity to improve performance
• Analyse large datasets to identify opportunities and improvements
• Support development of systematic and algorithmic trading strategies
• Enhance pricing, execution and risk models with market data insights
• Work with Technology and Data teams to implement models
• Provide senior quantitative insights to leadership and establish best practices
