An experienced procurement leader is required to develop and standardise procurement strategy across a complex multi-entity organisation. The role will drive sourcing excellence, supplier governance, cost optimisation, compliance, and procurement transformation while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

Description

• Develop and implement a group-wide procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish procurement policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and approval processes.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories.
• Drive supplier consolidation to maximise group purchasing leverage.
• Oversee major tenders, RFQs, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Establish supplier evaluation, performance management, and risk assessment frameworks.
• Deliver cost-saving, value engineering, and procurement efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with governance, audit, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Lead procurement process standardisation through ERP and procurement systems.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and functional direction to procurement teams.

Profile

• UAE National ONLYBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Professional certification such as CIPS preferred.
• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience.
• Proven senior procurement leadership experience within large, multi-entity organisations.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier governance.
• Demonstrated success in high-value contract negotiations and supplier consolidation.
• Experience working with ERP and procurement systems such as SAP or equivalent.
• Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, food production, agriculture, or industrial sectors preferred.
• Experience operating within structured governance, audit, and approval frameworks.
