Job summary

Aldar Education invites applications for a Principal role at Yasmina British Academy in Abu Dhabi to lead the Primary School. The post requires shaping the curriculum, improving teaching, and ensuring outstanding student progress within the England National Curriculum and ADEK requirements.

You will manage senior leaders, drive staffing plans, monitor safeguarding, and partner with parents and the wider community to uphold the school's vision and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in another subject with valid Primary Education teaching license or diploma.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational and strategic leadership for the Primary School.
• Lead development, implementation and evaluation of the Primary School Development Plan.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, inclusion and high expectations.
• Contribute to whole-school strategic planning and decision-making as part of SLT.
• Oversee staffing, deployment, timetabling, and budget management for the Primary phase.
