Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related subject with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience.
• Experience of the UK curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies and practices aligned with the school vision and high standards.
• Plan and monitor short, medium and long-term departmental development plans.
• Use data to identify underachieving students and implement action plans.
• Analyse school data to inform policies and SEF writing.
• Ensure schemes of work cover all year groups including SEN/POD, G&T and EAL.

Education
