MBZUAI, a leading AI-focused university in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a senior leader to establish and oversee Postdoctoral Affairs. You will shape strategic direction, coordinate with academic leadership, and drive policies that govern postdoctoral programs.

Responsibilities include onboarding collaboration with HR, developing career development initiatives, and maintaining a data-driven view of postdoctoral outcomes. Candidate should bring leadership in higher education and governance.

Formación

• Master's degree in higher education administration, AI, CS, engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years in academic research environments.
• Experience supervising postdoctoral researchers.
• Experience in governance, policy development, or research administration.
• Experience in higher education leadership roles.

Requirements

• Master's degree in higher education administration, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in academic research environments
• Experience supervising or managing postdoctoral researchers
• Demonstrated experience in academic governance, policy development, or research administration
• Experience in higher education leadership roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree
• Experience in a STEM or AI-focused graduate education environment
• Fluency in Arabic
• Understanding of UAE regulatory and higher education governance frameworks
