HEAD OF PLANTING & MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

We are a fast‑growing landscape studio based in UAE. We design, build, and maintain outdoor spaces that combine creativity and sustainability. Our young, ambitious team values innovation, eco‑friendly solutions, and purposeful minimalism in every project.

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the planting and maintenance department — responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising all landscape care and treatment operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee all activities of the Planting and Maintenance Department across multiple sites.
• Plan and schedule planting works, seasonal maintenance, and treatment programs for various projects.
• Develop and implement annual maintenance plans for gardens, terraces, and outdoor areas.
• Prepare planting and treatment schedules, ensuring proper timing and resource allocation.
• Supervise a team of gardeners, supervisors, and technicians, ensuring work quality and efficiency.
• Select plant species, fertilizers, pesticides, and irrigation systems according to project needs.
• Monitor soil condition, irrigation systems, and plant health, taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Diagnose plant diseases and pest infestations; prepare treatment plans and preventive care routines.
• Maintain safety documentation and ensure full compliance with health, environmental, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with procurement for material orders (plants, soil, fertilizers, tools, chemicals).
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, budgets, and work progress updates for management.
• Provide training, motivation, and support to the gardening team to improve efficiency and skill level.

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher education in Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture, or Landscape Management.
• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in landscape maintenance or horticultural management.
• Strong practical knowledge of planting techniques, fertilizers, pest control, and irrigation systems.
• Proven experience in team leadership, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Ability to create and follow maintenance and treatment plans for multiple ongoing projects.
• Skilled in documentation, budgeting, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace / MS Office.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Responsibility, attention to detail, and passion for nature and design.
