Job summary

Al Rabeeh Academy in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Head of Mathematics to provide strategic leadership for KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A Level Mathematics. You will lead, develop and manage the Mathematics department to ensure high standards of teaching, learning and student outcomes while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

The role starts August 2026 and requires strong leadership, data-driven improvement and excellent communication with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE/QTS.
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-quality mathematics teaching up to GCSE and A Level.
• Model analytical thinking and numeracy across the department.
• Drive curriculum planning and progression across Key Stages 3–5.
