Job Description
Role : Responsible for the regional marketing strategy and delivery of the regional marketing plan to drive lead generation, increase brand awareness, and support customer retention.
You will be responsible for increasing the pipeline for both new accounts and the installed base. Your primary objectives will be to generate qualified leads and support their progression to close. Your efforts will also help increase brand awareness in target segments and across the industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting the regional marketing strategy aligned with the regional business plan and global marketing objectives, led by the regional Go-To-Market (GTM) and Territory Plans, with integration to Sales and Partner & Alliances functions.
- Owning lead generation in core industries focused on by IFS in the region, aligned with GTM and Territory Plans.
- Identifying, researching, and positioning IFS with high-potential companies, and developing value propositions in collaboration with the Business Development team and Sales Managers (account-based marketing or ABM).
- Developing and implementing marketing plans for the existing customer base, including analyzing opportunities for upgrades and add-on sales, and executing customer retention and development activities.
- Collaborating with the central marketing team to build industry campaigns and localizing and implementing them across the region.
- Managing local marketing communications, including events and both internal and external communications, working with agencies as needed.
- Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on marketing activities and results.
- Supporting regional management with pipeline, market, and segment insights and analysis.
- Implementing strategic brand-building activities to support long-term regional growth in line with global initiatives.
- Leading, growing, and developing the APJMEA marketing team according to the regional business plan.
- Managing the marketing budget, including planning, forecasting, and submission.
- Overseeing external productions, deliveries, and region-specific sales enablement materials.

- Background in B2B marketing, especially in the software industry.
- Understanding of industrial software, including ERP, EAM, and Service Management (FSM and ESM).
- Knowledge of the six key industry focuses of IFS.
- University degree in business or marketing (preferred).
- Experience working with sales and partners (SIs and channels).
- Project management experience.
- Budget management experience.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic and Japanese is advantageous.
