Job Description:

We are currently seeking a technically proficient and resourceful Senior Manager - Head of Maintenance to join our BEEAH Fleet Logistics and Maintenance team. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum fleet availability through application of industry best practices for preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs, while keeping the maintenance cost at optimum level. The job requires a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Manager with at least 20+ years of experience in maintaining fleets of over 1500 vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our large fleet of vehicles both in-house and through a third party.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and PLC control systems in heavy-duty vehicles and equipment (e.g., side-loading refuse compactors and bin washers).
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 2,500+ vehicles across UAE and regional projects to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and OEM service schedules in coordination with suppliers and vendors.
• Manage all aspects of fleet maintenance operations, including inspections, repairs, and safety compliance.
• Administer third-party maintenance contracts, ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
• Analyze fleet data to identify trends, optimize performance, and reduce operating costs through continuous improvement.
• Oversee budget preparation for maintenance, workshops, and tenders, including manpower, parts, and setup costs.
• Drive technical evaluations for new fleet acquisitions and ensure compliance with specifications, warranty, and HSE requirements.
• Lead training, SAP process implementation, and workshop development to strengthen technical capability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 20+ years of experience in fleet maintenance management, with a track record of success in managing large fleets of over 2000 vehicles.
• Extensive knowledge of fleet maintenance best practices, including preventative maintenance, repair, and inspection procedures
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of maintenance professionals.
• Experience managing third-party contracts for fleet maintenance, including negotiating contracts and overseeing work performed by contractors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including executives, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze fleet maintenance data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
