Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead for a confidential UAE group. You will own enterprise infrastructure, DR, BC, resilience, and transition from outsourced to internal services while reporting to the SVP of Technology & AI.

This hands-on leadership role requires assessing current environments, building internal capabilities, coordinating with security, architecture, and business teams, and delivering measurable improvements within an 18-month programme.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior IT infrastructure leadership experience.
• Proven end-to-end ownership of complex enterprise environments.
• Strong disaster recovery and resilience testing background.
• Direct experience with UAE Information Assurance (UAE IA) requirements is mandatory.
• Experience building or restructuring internal IT operations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of enterprise IT infrastructure, including data centres, cloud, servers, storage, networks, connectivity, end-user computing, and infrastructure operations.
• Assess the existing infrastructure environment, identify gaps, and define improvement plans.
• Establish and strengthen disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability capabilities.
• Lead infrastructure risk assessments, crisis response, and remediation testing.
• Ensure alignment with UAE IA requirements and translate regulatory needs into practical controls.
• Manage vendors, SLAs, costs, and service quality; evaluate outsourcing and develop insourcing plans.
• Build and develop internal infrastructure teams with clear responsibilities and KPIs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, applications, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure secure, scalable services.
