Job summary

Aldar Academies seeks a Head of Inclusion - AY 2026-2027 for Al Shohub Private School in Abu Dhabi to lead SEN strategy across the school and ensure high standards of inclusive practice. The role requires strong leadership, data-driven intervention planning, and a deep understanding of ADEK guidelines within a British curriculum setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with SEN qualifications and a master level or equivalent SEN certification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in SEN with leadership in SEN.
• Experience in learning support in primary/secondary settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement inclusive practices across the school to raise attainment.
• Line manage the Inclusion team and coordination of IEPs and care plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support learners.
• Maintain accurate SEN registers and monitor SoD progress and attainment.
• Deliver induction and ongoing training for the Inclusion team.
• Prepare submissions for ADEK and other educational bodies.
• Lead assessments and ensure access arrangements where needed.
• Promote a data-driven approach to track student progress and intervention effectiveness.
