Job summary

A leading resort hospitality company in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Director of Housekeeping. In this role, you will manage all housekeeping operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests and staff. The ideal candidate has proven experience in a similar position, strong leadership skills, and a background in hospitality management. Additionally, you will oversee staff training and budget management while implementing best practices for housekeeping.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and health and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse team and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Manage and coordinate housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
  • Oversee the budget and expenses of the housekeeping department, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet guests' needs and maintain a positive guest experience.
  • Handle any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices to improve housekeeping operations.
