Job summary

Cipher7 Business Consulting & Digital Solutions seeks a seasoned Head of Supply Chain Management to lead procurement and SCM for a Power T&D client. The role spans 25+ countries and 150+ projects, directing strategic sourcing and risk management for large-scale energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities include shaping the end-to-end strategy, managing 30–40 procurement professionals, and building long-term OEM/EPC partnerships across regions to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of senior-level procurement and supply chain leadership in Power T&D or large EPC projects.
• Deep understanding of electrical transmission infrastructure and high‑voltage equipment.
• Global/regional exposure with GCC project delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute end-to-end SCM and procurement strategy for Power T&D projects.
• Oversee high-value direct equipment procurement and framework agreements.
• Lead a procurement organisation of 30–40 professionals with 7–8 direct reports.
• Establish long-term OEM/EPC partnerships across Europe, Asia and international markets.
• Drive commercial negotiations, cost optimisation, and supply chain resilience.
• Collaborate with executive teams to ensure material flow, logistics, and site execution.
