Job summary

Bloom Education in Al Ain seeks an inspirational Head of Elementary (Teaching and Learning) to support the Principal and Vice Principal in educational leadership, curriculum management and data-driven improvement. The role focuses on strategic direction for the whole school and alignment with Bloom Education's vision.

Candidates will lead teaching and learning initiatives, develop staff, and oversee development plans while ensuring UAE standards and cultural norms are respected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education / PGCE required.
• Experience in middle management in a Primary/Elementary setting.
• Ability to align curriculum with UAE standards and cultural norms.

Responsibilities

• Formulate aims and policies for the school and manage staff and resources.
• Fulfill duties of the Vice Principal when required by the Principal.
• Lead teaching and learning across the school with the Middle Leadership Team.
• Develop and monitor School Development Plan priorities.
• Review standards of leadership, teaching and learning across responsibilities.
• Create costed subject development plans involving all staff.
• Develop and implement policies reflecting curriculum strategies.
• Promote high expectations for student achievement.
• Plan, delegate and evaluate staff work and meetings.
• Disseminate curriculum developments to staff.
