Job summary

Mashreq is seeking a senior leader to drive Digital Transformation, Strategy and Governance across the Wholesale Digital Studio and Neo X portfolio in Dubai. You will oversee end‑to‑end programs spanning Open Finance, Digital Assets, and FinTech collaborations, ensuring disciplined execution and value realization.

You will redefine operating models, champion agile practices, and partner with coverage teams to align customer journeys with the corporate online portal and other touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital transformation governance and strategy execution.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional programs and manage portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Develop a bird’s eye view of the different journeys in the transformation space.
• Provide governance across all digital initiatives across The Wholesale Digital Studio including Neo X by preventing duplication.
• Neo X Portfolio Leadership.
• Provide digital transformation, governance, and strategy oversight for Neo X (launched Dec’ 2025), encompassing Open Finance, Digital Assets, Channel Analytics, and Fin Tech Collaborations; accountable for end‑to‑end portfolio prioritization, funding strategy, budget control, benefits realization, and executive‑level progress oversight across all Neo X programs.
• Redefine the operating model within Wholesale Digital Studio & Neo X portfolio.
• Build a Digitally Driven and Transformed Organization.
• Ensure budget adherence, adoption of agile & scaled agile principles across the various squads in Wholesale Digital Studio
• Support the evolution of the Wholesale Bank Innovation Lab and Intrapreneur program
• Close interaction with coverage teams, channel and product partners in synergizing customer journeys and experience through our corporate online portal and other touch points.
• Build and execute strategic initiatives to drive transformation along pillars: Next Generation Offerings within Advanced Analytics; Disruptive Coverage across Wholesale Bank; Customer Journeys in DOB and KYC; New Approach to Technology; Agility and Collaboration; Culture of Innovation.

Job description

Responsible for leading Digital Transformation, Strategy and Governance. This role will have Key areas of focus as below:

• Develop a bird’s eye view of the different journeys in the transformation space

Neo Ventures Strategic & Governance Leadership

Provides strategic direction, digital transformation leadership, and governance oversight for Neo Ventures, aligning venture priorities with Wholesale Banking and Group digital strategy to accelerate innovation‑led growth.

• Venture Portfolio Oversight & Value Realization
• Oversees the Neo Ventures portfolio across incubation, partnerships, and scale‑up initiatives; accountable for investment governance, budget oversight, milestone tracking, risk management, and value realization, ensuring disciplined execution and strategic fit.
• Ecosystem & Commercial Enablement
• Shapes and governs Fin Tech, platform, and ecosystem partnerships within Neo Ventures, establishing operating models, decision frameworks, and performance metrics to transition ventures from concept to commercially viable, scalable businesses.
