Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual communications plans and KPIs.

• Oversee PR agencies domestically and internationally with ROI focus.
• Provide executive communications support including speeches and internal messages.
• Oversee news releases, fact sheets, and distribution via channels.
• Cultivate media relationships and handle inquiries.
• Lead digital communications and influencer engagement for reach.
• Direct content strategies across social platforms and senior leadership presence.
• Monitor issues and maintain crisis communications plan.
• Coordinate spokesperson participation at conferences and events.

A high-profile global sustainability initiative is seeking an experienced Head of Communications to lead its communications strategy platforms and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the organisation s annual communications plans and KPIs contributing to performance monitoring and reporting to ensure objectives are met
• Implement the communications strategy through thought leadership media relations content development and message creation
• Develop and execute event-specific communications plans and lead strategic communication initiatives
• Lead and manage PR agencies across domestic international and strategic communications overseeing performance measurement and ROI
• Provide executive communications support to senior leadership including drafting speeches presentations and internal messages
• Oversee the development of news releases fact sheets and related materials and manage distribution via PR agencies and internal channels
• Cultivate positive media relationships and manage incoming media inquiries
• Lead and oversee digital communications plans including social media website development and influencer engagement to maximise reach and brand visibility
• Direct content strategies and engagement across Instagram Facebook X Twitter YouTube and LinkedIn including oversight of senior leadership s LinkedIn presence
• Monitor issues that could impact the organisation from a communications perspective and maintain and update the crisis communications plan
• Manage spokesperson participation at conferences including speech and talking-point development
• Contribute to the recommendation and monitoring of the annual communications budget

• UAE experience, with strong knowledge of local rules, regulations, systems, and processes relating to sustainability
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a consultative approach across a multifunctional environment
• Strong project management and budget management capability
• Up-to-date knowledge of sustainability and marketing trends, and diverse communications channels
