Job summary

GEMS Education invites applications for Head of Arabic Language A to join our Dubai campus from September 2024. The role reports to the CEO, Principals and Vice Principal for Arabic Language, shaping the vision and direction of Arabic with a strong emphasis on student achievement and progress.

You will lead aims/objectives for Arabic language, support self-review and resource planning, and champion the school's Mission, Vision and Values in every decision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arabic Language and Literature (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in a leadership position and has been teaching Arabic Language.
• Teacher qualifying Certification
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Set aims and objectives for Arabic language and formulate the School Development Plan.
• Assist in Arabic self-review and evaluation and manage resources to secure improvements.
• Lead with the Academy’s Mission, Vision and Values in decision making.

• To play a significant role in setting aims and objectives for Arabic Langugae and in formulating the School Development Plan.
• To assist the CEO, Principals and Vice Principal for Arabic in Arabic self-review and evaluation, and in the effective planning and management of resources to secure improvements.
• To lead with the Academy’s Mission, Vision and Values at the center of all decision making.

Requirements

• Bachelor of of Arabic Language and Literature (or equivalent)
