Job summary

Taaleem Holdings seeks a Head of Arabic to oversee Arabic and Islamic studies, monitor progress, and guide curriculum delivery in partnership with the SLT. You will support teachers to achieve outstanding learning results and assess the impact of action plans on student attainment.

The role requires leadership, curriculum development expertise, and strong stakeholder collaboration to advance bilingual education across Taaleem schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and teaching certification are required.
• Two years of senior or middle leadership experience in a similar setting.
• Knowledge of international accreditation frameworks and educational standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English written and spoken.
• Ability to develop and sustain high performance teams.
• Strong relationship management with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Arabic department and monitor student progress, attainment and curriculum delivery.
• Develop Arabic and Islamic curricula in collaboration with SLT and department members.
• Provide professional development for teachers and learning assistants.
• Manage department budgets, resources, and recruitment processes.
• Review assessments and reports to improve learning outcomes.
• Coordinate with other departments to align school language policies.
