Job summary

Taaleem seeks a Head of Arabic to oversee Arabic and Islamic curriculum delivery, monitor student progress, and support teachers across the school. The role works closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure high standards in learning outcomes and effective curriculum implementation.

You will lead department development, manage resources, and engage with parents to promote language and religious education in a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and implement Arabic and Islamic curriculum with the SLT.
• Lead the Arabic department and manage teachers and learning assistants.
• Develop professional development programs to support teachers.
• Monitor lesson plans and assessments to improve student progress.
• Manage department budgets, orders for supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to align language policies.
• Engage parents through language development activities and events.
• Ensure KHDA regulations are followed and report to the SLT.
