Overview

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. As the face of our coffee bar, the Head Barista will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards in coffee preparation, presentation, and service—while mentoring and managing a team of baristas. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and has a deep understanding of specialty coffee, brewing methods, and café culture.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and brewed coffee beverages consistently
  • Lead, train, and supervise the barista team to ensure excellent customer service and product quality
  • Monitor daily coffee operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure proper calibration of grinders, espresso machines, and brewing tools
  • Develop seasonal coffee menus and signature drinks in collaboration with management
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all barista workstations in line with health and safety regulations
  • Engage with customers to create a warm, welcoming café environment
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally
  • Maintain and manage inventory levels of coffee, milk, and supplies; place orders as needed
  • Conduct regular quality checks and ensure adherence to SOPs and brand standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Barista or Senior Barista in a specialty café or restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting levels, brewing methods, and latte art
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Passion for customer service and café culture
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management
  • Barista certification or formal coffee training is a plus
  • Flexibility to work morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
