Justlife Home Services in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Handyman / Maintenance Technician to perform multi-trade residential upkeep across client sites. You will work with a crew, have a dedicated van, and complete most tasks in a single visit.

The role requires hands-on experience in handyman tasks, basic electrical and plumbing, with strong customer interaction. Full-time, field-based, six days a week; visa sponsorship and housing support provided by Justlife Partner entity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out residential maintenance across Dubai client sites.
• Work with a crew, van, helper and driver; close most jobs in a single visit.
• Perform furniture assembly, TV mounting, fixtures, and simple repairs.
• Handle basic electrical tasks: fixtures, switches, sockets, fans; safe diagnosis.
• Handle basic plumbing: leaks, blockages, taps, fittings; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Take before/after photos and confirm completion with customer; propose further work if needed.

Handyman / Maintenance Technician

Dubai, UAE · Full-time, field-based · 6 days per week

Close the whole job in one visit.

Every month, hundreds of thousands of people across the GCC book a cleaner, a beauty service, a handyman, or a healthcare visit through Justlife. When they book a handyman, they usually have three jobs waiting, not one - and they don't want three different people across three different days.

We're looking for a technician who can handle all three - handyman work, basic electrical and basic plumbing - and close the whole job in a single visit, leaving the customer with nothing left to book.

The Role

You will carry out residential home maintenance jobs at customer locations across Dubai, booked through the Justlife platform.

You'll work as part of a crew with a dedicated van, helper and driver. This is a customer-facing role - the quality of your work and the way you deal with the customer both matter.

This role requires all three skill sets. A crew is expected to close most jobs in one visit, so single-trade candidates will not be considered.

What You'll Do

• Handyman work: furniture assembly and installation, TV wall mounting, hanging mirrors, paintings, shelves and wall décor, curtain and blind installation, wall drilling and fixing, door, lock and hinge repairs, and general small repairs.
• Basic electrical work: light fixtures and fittings, switches and sockets, ceiling fans, and diagnosing and fixing simple faults safely.
• Basic plumbing work: leak fixes, blockages and drainage issues, taps and shower heads, and bathroom accessories and fittings.
• Arrive on time, confirm the job scope with the customer, and complete the work in a single visit wherever possible.
• Take before and after photos, and get the customer's approval once the job is done.
• Identify any additional work the customer may need and raise it to the operations team.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

• Able to do all three - handyman work, basic electrical and basic plumbing. Candidates who can do only one or two of these will not be shortlisted.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a handyman or maintenance technician.
• Currently based in the UAE - this is a field role in Dubai.
• Good English communication skills - able to confirm scope, explain the work and handle the customer directly with confidence.
• Hands-on experience with drilling, mounting and furniture assembly.
• Able to use power tools and hand tools safely.
• Available to work 6 days a week.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in residential home services, a B2C setup, or facilities management.
• Ability to complete multiple small tasks during a single customer visit.
• Professional appearance and a customer-friendly attitude.
