Aveda by SIMI in Dubai Marina is hiring a Hair Assistant to join our new AVEDA salon. The role involves supporting Stylists, preparing clients and stations, and delivering a warm, professional guest experience.

You should have basic hairdressing knowledge, good English, and be based in the UAE with a UAE residence visa. Immediate start available in a vibrant international team offering AVEDA education and career growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Hair Assistant or within a professional salon is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hairdressing and colour services
• Good level of English
• Professional, friendly and well-presented
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Passionate about learning and developing within the hair industry
• Must currently be based in the UAE
• Must hold a valid UAE residence visa
• Must be available to start immediately
• NOC preferred, where applicable

Responsibilities

• Shampooing and conditioning clients
• Preparing clients for hair and colour services
• Assisting Stylists and Colourists during services
• Preparing tools, products and workstations
• Assisting with colour preparation and application under the direction of the Stylist or Colourist
• Keeping the salon, backwash area and workstations clean and organised
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Providing every guest with a warm, professional and welcoming experience
