Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gypsum Worker Professional to join our dynamic construction team in Al Ain. This role is critical in the successful execution of interior finishing works on commercial and residential projects ensuring high-quality durable and aesthetically pleasing finishes. The Gypsum Worker will be responsible for installing finishing and maintaining gypsum board systems including wall and ceiling applications while adhering to strict safety quality and timeline standards. With a strong foundation in carpentry interior design principles and material handling the ideal candidate will contribute to the seamless integration of architectural vision into physical reality. This position offers a stable career path within a growing construction firm with opportunities for skill development and advancement.

Responsibilities
  • Install and secure gypsum board (drywall) on walls and ceilings according to architectural plans and specifications.
  • Perform precise cutting, shaping, and fitting of gypsum panels to accommodate doors, windows, and structural elements.
  • Apply joint compound, tape, and finish techniques to create smooth, seamless surfaces across joints and seams.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing by sanding, priming, and inspecting for imperfections.
  • Assist in the installation of door frames, thresholds, and associated trimwork ensuring proper alignment and finish.
  • Work collaboratively with carpenters, electricians, and other trades to ensure coordinated progress and quality outcomes.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times reporting hazards or incidents immediately.
  • Support flooring installation activities where coordination with drywall work is required.
  • Apply knowledge of interior design principles to ensure visual harmony and functionality in finished spaces.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • 13 years of hands‑on experience as a Gypsum Worker or in a related construction trade.
  • Proven expertise in gypsum board installation, joint finishing, and surface preparation.
  • Proficiency in carpentry techniques including framing, measuring, and fitting.
  • Solid understanding of interior design principles including spatial planning, material aesthetics, and finish coordination.
  • Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in drywall and interior finishing work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with supervisors and team members.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
  • Valid work permit and legal eligibility to work in the UAE (Al Ain).
  • Experience with SAP‑NetWeaver‑AS (if applicable) for project documentation or inventory tracking is a plus.

This role requires a male candidate due to site‑specific requirements and working conditions in Al Ain.
