About The Role

As Guest Service Executive, you will be the face of The Meydan Hotel, providing a warm and professional welcome to all guests and visitors. In this pivotal role, you are responsible for handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing guest inquiries both in person and over the phone, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. The Front Desk Receptionist

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Maintains accurate guest records and upholds the highest standards of service and hospitality in every interaction.
  • Responds to guest inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
  • Process payments and issue room keys while adhering to security protocols.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints professionally and elevate as necessary.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous experience in front desk, receptionist, or customer service role within the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with guests of diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a fast-paced front desk environment.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems, particularly familiarity with Opera Cloud, as well as standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve guest issues calmly and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate guest records and uphold confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude, polished appearance, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and the ability to provide recommendations to guests is an added advantage.
