Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full-time Recreation Attendant to serve as a key resource for all on-property activities in Sharjah, UAE. You will inform guests about facilities, recruit and schedule participation, and promote safety rules while assisting with private events and cashiering duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certifications, and the ability to work on-site with a customer-focused approach in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities on the property.
• Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.
• Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facilities and respond to emergencies per procedures.
• Provide cashier services when working in facilities that include point of sale transactions.
• Assist when hosting private functions within the recreation facilities with group activities and events.
• Maintain cleanliness of recreational facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Support team to reach common goals and assist guests with disabilities as needed.
