Job summary

The Bussola Group is seeking a customer-focused server to deliver attentive table service in our Dubai restaurant. You will greet guests, explain menu items, take orders, and ensure a smooth sequence of service to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue.

Role requires 1–2 years in hospitality, good English, and the ability to stand for long shifts, including weekends and holidays. UAE health and hygiene certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education; hospitality certificate an advantage.
• 1-2 years' waiting experience in a restaurant, hotel or similar.
• Good spoken English; another language (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, French) is an advantage.
• POS experience (e.g. Micros, Simphony, Oracle) preferred.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate and UAE Occupational Health Card.
• Friendly, well-groomed, guest-focused; able to stand for long shifts and work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus and explain dishes, ingredients and allergens.
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Upsell beverages, specials and desserts to meet revenue targets.
• Serve food and drinks to sequence-of-service standards and check back on satisfaction.
• Handle bills, payments and cash/card procedures accurately.
• Set up, clear and reset tables; complete opening and closing side duties.
• Handle complaints politely and escalate to the supervisor when needed.
• Follow grooming, hygiene and food safety standards.
