Job summary

FIGO RESTAURANT LLC is seeking a customer-focused waiter/waitress in Dubai to provide an exceptional dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery while maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining area.

You will engage guests in upselling daily specials and beverages, while accurately handling payments and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
• Fluency in the local language is essential; additional languages are a plus.
• Certification in food safety or handling preferred to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and create an inviting atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and explain menu items creatively.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure dishes are presented well and at proper temperature.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns to enhance dining experience.
• Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery and communicate special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and reset tables properly.
• Upsell menu items by discussing daily specials, desserts, and beverages to maximize sales.
