Job summary

Le Méridien is seeking a courteous guest service associate at our Abu Dhabi hotel. You will greet guests, determine party size, seat guests at appropriate tables, and ensure menus and settings are pristine.

You will guide guests through the dining area and assist teams to meet guest needs with a focus on service excellence. Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, monitoring dining room flow, and upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and determine party size; seat guests at clean, available tables.
• Guide guests through the dining area and assist as needed; pull out chairs and place menus.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups, ensuring proper place settings and napkins/silverware.
• Check menus for accuracy and freshness; maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Monitor dining room for seating, safety, and guest well‑being; follow safety policies and report incidents.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Assist with other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors.
