Job summary

Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel in Dubai is seeking a friendly F&B Waiter to deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders using our POS, and serve meals and beverages with professionalism.

The role requires excellent communication, a customer-service mindset, basic math for handling payments, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment. Prior F&B experience and a High school diploma are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner
• Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages
• Take accurate food and drink orders using our point-of-sale system
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure tables are set up correctly and maintained throughout service
• Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
• Assist in side work duties such as restocking supplies and rolling silverware
