Job summary

TECHO ELECTRONICS FZCO is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The role requires a solid grasp of accounting basics, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with common accounting software. Fresh graduates are welcome, with 0–2 years of experience preferred.

You will record daily transactions, manage payables/receivables, prepare invoices and vouchers, and assist with monthly closings. UAE VAT knowledge is an advantage, with visa/medical benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• 0–2 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates may apply
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software is an advantage
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping, debit/credit, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Good English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• UAE experience and knowledge of UAE VAT are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and journal entries
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain petty cash and financial records
• Assist with monthly closing and financial reports
• Support VAT and other accounting compliance requirements
• Maintain organized accounting documents and records
• Assist senior accountants with audits and other finance tasks
