Position Overview
The Group HR Manager at S.S. Lootah Group will manage and oversee the HR functions across multiple business units within the organization. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with strong leadership, strategic insight, and the ability to implement effective human capital initiatives that support business objectives. The Group HR Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient HR operations, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving employee development and engagement across the Group.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Support the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with the Group’s goals and long-term vision.
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Oversee and coordinate recruitment activities across business units to attract and retain top talent.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters, ensuring fair practices, conflict resolution, and the consistent application of policies.
- Performance Management: Collaborate with Group and BU leadership to implement effective performance management systems that promote accountability and growth.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, design and execute learning programs, and oversee development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career progression.
- Compensation and Benefits: Administer and monitor compensation and benefits structures to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and organizational standards.
- Workforce Planning: Analyze workforce data to anticipate future needs, support succession planning, and provide strategic input on talent management.
- Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention across all entities.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- HR Technology: Maintain and optimize HR systems (HRIS) to ensure accurate data management and process efficiency.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Support and promote initiatives that foster an inclusive and equitable workplace culture.
- Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Support initiatives to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment for all employees.
Authorities
- Develop and implement HR policies in alignment with organizational goals and legal standards.
- Manage employee relations and provide guidance on disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Lead and coordinate training, development, and performance initiatives across business units.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and mitigate organizational risk.
- Oversee employee engagement and retention programs to build a motivated workforce.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, PHR, SPHR) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive HR management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a group or multi-business unit role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, UAE labor law, and organizational development.
- Proven ability to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HR systems such as Oracle or equivalent.
- Skilled in handling confidential information and managing complex employee relations cases.
