Job summary

Madison Pearl in Dubai seeks a Group Head of Finance to manage day-to-day finance across a multi-jurisdiction group, reporting to the Group CFO. You will lead a small internal team and oversee outsourced providers.

The role covers corporate and management entities, requiring strong technical accounting, tax and multi-entity reporting expertise within a regulated environment; Big Four background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Big Four audit background with 5+ years in-house finance.
• Experience in private equity, investment manager or similarly regulated financial institution.
• Strong technical accounting, tax, audit and multi-entity reporting expertise.
• Hands-on, organized and able to operate with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own management reporting, statutory accounts, audit, tax, treasury, cash flow and finance operations.
• Manage regulatory and financial reporting across FCA, DFSA and/or FSRA-regulated entities.
• Oversee outsourced accounting providers across multiple jurisdictions and lead a small internal team.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure reporting and compliance are delivered accurately and on time.

Madison Pearl is working closely with a multi-billion-dollar global private equity firm. They are looking to hire a Group Head of Finance to independently manage the day-to-day finance function across a complex, multi-jurisdiction group. The role covers the firm’s corporate and management entities rather than fund finance and reports directly to the Group CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of management reporting, statutory accounts, audit, tax, treasury, cash flow and finance operations.
• Manage regulatory and financial reporting across FCA, DFSA and/or FSRA-regulated entities.
• Oversee outsourced accounting providers across multiple jurisdictions and manage a small internal team.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure all reporting and compliance requirements are delivered accurately and on time.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with 15+ years’ experience.
• Five or more years with a Big Four audit firm before moving into an in-house finance role.
• Experience within a private equity firm, investment manager or similarly regulated financial institution.
• Strong technical accounting, tax, audit and multi-entity reporting experience.
• Hands-on, organised and capable of operating with very little supervision.
