Job Title: Group Head of Finance

Overview

The Group Head of Finance at Solutions Leisure Group will oversee all financial operations ensuring stability growth and profitability across our diverse portfolio of food and beverage establishments. This senior leadership role involves strategic financial planning risk management compliance and supporting key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership: Oversee financial management reporting and forecasting.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term financial strategies and provide insights for executive decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage budgeting processes and align financial performance with business goals.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure compliance with IFRS oversee month-end and year-end closings and coordinate external audits.
  • Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow credit lines and debt financing to maintain liquidity and financial stability.
  • Compliance & Taxation: Ensure adherence to financial regulations including VAT corporate tax and economic substance requirements.
  • Cost Control & Profitability: Optimize inventory supplier negotiations and cost structures to enhance profitability.
  • Financial Systems & Controls: Implement strong financial controls and ensure seamless integration with IT systems.
  • Project Management: Manage financial aspects of new venue launches ensuring cost control and strategic alignment.
  • Shared Services & Transfer Pricing: Accurately allocate shared service costs and ensure compliance with intercompany financial regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the finance team fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Experience & Competencies

  • Education: Bachelors in Finance Accounting or related field. CPA CMA or a Masters degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years in finance or accounting with 5 years in a senior leadership role. Hospitality/F&B experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in financial management software ERP systems and Excel.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage large-scale financial operations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to financial planning and business growth.
  • Communication: Ability to present complex financial data clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
