Job summary

Nexus Solutions in Dubai seeks a Group Finance Manager to partner with the CEO and COO, driving financial analysis for strategic decisions and ensuring delivery standards across client finance functions.

You will oversee multi-entity finance teams, manage month-end closes, and provide pricing, budgeting and forecasting support while shaping a scalable finance function for rapid growth in a tech-enabled services environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years in finance with at least 3 years leading a finance team.
• Multi-entity finance and consolidation experience.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience.
• Commercial and pricing analysis experience.
• Knowledge of UAE corporate tax and VAT.
• Experience managing external audits and client-facing stakeholders.
• Ambition to progress to Head of Finance and Group CFO.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance contact for clients and leadership teams.
• Provide financial, commercial and strategic support for key client decisions.
• Deliver reviews to client leadership with actionable recommendations.
• Identify improvements for clients and support their teams to implement them.
• Oversee month-end close for clients and ensure timely reporting.
• Review monthly client reports and address gaps.
• Ensure controls, approval limits and payment authorisations are followed.
• Escalate financial risks and issues to client and group leadership.
• Manage and develop the group finance team through coaching.
• Shape the finance team structure and lead recruitment.
• Provide pricing, margin and deal analysis to leadership.
• Model financial impact of new products, partnerships and commercial agreements.
• Review commercial terms for financial risk in client and partner agreements.
• Review shared services profitability by function and suggest pricing or cost changes.
• Provide financial input to decisions on new investments and opportunities.
• Maintain the group financial model and scenario analysis for leadership planning.
• Track client performance against targets and report variances.
• Prepare financial packs for leadership and investors.

Group Finance Manager

will act as the financial partner to the CEO and COO providing the analysis behind the Groups commercial and strategic decisions and to hold every client finance function to a consistent standard of delivery.

Requirements

Client Financial Support

• Act as the primary finance contact for clients and their leadership teams.
• Provide financial commercial and strategic support to clients on key decisions.
• Deliver reviews to client leadership with clear actions and recommendations.
• Identify improvements for clients and support their teams to deliver them.

Client Financial Oversight

• Oversee client finance teams to ensure month-end close is completed on time.
• Review monthly financial reports from each client and follow up on gaps.
• Ensure controls approval limits and payment authorisations are followed.
• Escalate financial risks and issues to client and Group Leadership team.

Team Management

• Manage and develop the Group finance team through feedback and coaching.
• Set priorities and allocate work across Group and client deliverables.
• Review team output for accuracy timeliness and quality.
• Shape the finance team structure and lead recruitment.

Group Commercial Support

• Provide pricing margin and deal analysis to the Group Leadership team.
• Model the financial impact of new products partnerships and commercial agreements.
• Review commercial terms in client and partner agreements for financial risk.
• Review shared services profitability by function and recommend pricing or cost changes.

Group Strategic Support

• Provide financial input to decisions on new investment opportunities.
• Maintain the Group financial model and scenario analysis for leadership planning.
• Track client performance against agreed financial targets and report on variances.
• Prepare clear financial packs for Group Leadership partners and investors.

Compliance & Finance Standards

• Ensure client filings and audits are completed on schedule.
• Set standard reporting templates for all clients.
• Ensure client finance teams keep accurate audit-ready records at all times.
• Build documented finance processes that scale as the Group and clients grow.

Required

ACCA CA CIMA or CPA qualified.
10 years in finance including at least 3 years managing a finance team.
Multi-entity finance and consolidation experience.
Budgeting forecasting and financial modelling.
Commercial and pricing analysis.
UAE corporate tax and VAT.
Management of external audits.
Client-facing or senior stakeholder management experience.
Clear communication with non-finance colleagues and clients.
Ambition to progress to Head of Finance and Group CFO.

Nice to Have

Experience in technology payments or regulated industries.
Multi-currency treasury management.
Fractional advisory or practice experience across multiple clients.
Xero Zoho Books or similar cloud accounting systems.
Finance system implementation.
Experience in a growing or scaling business.
