Job summary

A leading hospitality group in Dubai seeks a Group Corporate Accountant to maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, preferably be a qualified accountant, and possess at least 2 years of finance/accounting experience. You will support group-level reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with experience in German and/or Swiss GAAPs preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in finance/accounting.
  • Ability to work with various ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Support the preparation of group reporting packs.
  • Maintain accuracy in general ledger entries across entities.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Description

Job Summary: The Group Corporate Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records across multiple entities within the group. This role supports group-level reporting, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and statutory compliance, ensuring consistency and reliability in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting & Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Accounting & Reporting: Support the preparation of group reporting packs, including financial analysis and commentary.
  • Accounting & Reporting: Maintain general ledger entries across entities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Accounting & Reporting: Monitor account balances and resolve discrepancies in coordination with finance teams.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process Accounts Payable accounts timely and accurately.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process Accounts Receivable accounts timely and accurately.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with finance teams, auditors, and external advisors to ensure alignment and timely reporting.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Provide accounting support and guidance to internal stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Qualified accountant (preferred experience in German and/or Swiss GAAPs).
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years in finance/accounting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and financial modeling.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving ability and communication skills.
