Overview

We are now seeking an accomplished Group Controller to play a pivotal role in consolidating our international growth and ensuring our financial backbone remains strong, efficient, and globally aligned.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee preparation and timely delivery of local and consolidated financial statements (monthly / quarterly / annual) in compliance with IFRS / GAAP and local regulatory standards. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets across all international entities.
  • Accounting Operations Management: Manage day-to-day accounting functions (AP, AR, GL), ensuring accurate record keeping and reconciliation. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis, with a focus on consolidation adjustments.
  • Consolidation & International Coordination: Oversee consolidation of financial results from global subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with group policies. Collaborate with local finance teams to resolve discrepancies, reconcile intercompany transactions, and eliminate consolidation errors. Implement and optimize consolidation tools / software to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with CFO, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax teams to align accounting and consolidation processes with organizational goals.
  • Audit & Compliance: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies, ensuring smooth audit and compliance processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting systems, workflows, and technologies. Support ERP / system development, upgrades, and integrations to enhance financial and operational scalability.
Qualifications
  • BSc / MSc in Accounting / Finance; CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role, ideally within multi-entity, international organizations.
  • Proven expertise in IFRS / GAAP, financial reporting, and multi-currency consolidations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and consolidation tools (Workiva, Hyperion, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience managing cross-border teams.
  • Knowledge of international tax and regulatory requirements is a plus.
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience with European or US markets (corporate or regulatory exposure).
  • Background within the travel or SaaS industries.
  • Accredited and professionally certified in relevant industry standards.
