Job summary
Qureos in Dubai seeks a Ground Support Safety Operator to provide on-road safety support during autonomous vehicle testing and operations. You will drive designated safety vehicles along assigned routes and help protect pedestrians and other road users during activities.
The role requires vigilance, a strong driving record, UAE driving licence, and the ability to follow routes and procedures. You will monitor road conditions, support testing activities, and communicate hazards to relevant teams.
Qualifications
- Valid UAE driving licence.
- Strong driving record and knowledge of road safety practices.
- Experience in professional driving or fleet operations preferred.
- Strong situational awareness.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow designated routes and instructions.
Responsibilities
- Drive safety/support vehicles along designated operational routes.
- Provide ground-level safety support during autonomous vehicle operations.
- Monitor road conditions, pedestrians, surrounding vehicles and potential hazards.
- Support hardware and software update testing activities.
- Assist during autonomous vehicle road testing and routine road-running operations.
- Support special experience sessions and VIP activities.
- Provide ground support during operational and cloud-cabin testing.
- Communicate potential hazards or operational issues to the relevant teams.
- Respond appropriately to changing road and traffic conditions.
- Maintain safe driving standards and comply with all operational procedures.
