Job summary

Dorchester Collection is seeking a Graphic Designer Intern for The Lana Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. You will learn from our award-winning academy and support brand visuals across guest touchpoints.

You will work with the Marketing team on digital and print assets, campaigns and assets while developing your skills in a high-end hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Graphic Design or Visual Communication or a related field.
• Based in the UAE is preferred.
• Internship duration of 6–12 months is available.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of visually compelling designs that reflect the brand.
• Develop digital and print assets for social media, flyers, brochures and presentations.
• Contribute to campaigns and activations with fresh ideas.
• Assist Marketing with photo editing, layout design and basic video edits.
• Ensure all visuals follow brand guidelines and stay creative.
• Review supplier samples to verify design alignment and quality.

What youll do

Youll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• You will be responsible for supporting the creation of visually compelling designs to ensure our guests experience a brand that is refined consistent and unforgettable.
• Youll also assist in developing digital and print assets including social media content flyers brochures presentations and inhouse promotional materials that bring our brand to life across all guest touchpoints.
• Our values of Passion Personality Respect Working Together and Creativity guide us each and every day. As a Graphic Designer Intern youll have the opportunity to bring these to life and continue to elevate our legacy.
• Youll support the Marketing team with photo editing layout design video basics and concept brainstorming for campaigns and activations.
• Youll help ensure that all visual materials align with brand guidelines while exploring fresh creative ways to connect with our guests.
• You will review all samples coming from suppliers for any collaterals ensuring that it aligns with the design provided.

What youll bring

• Youll bring your unique personality and creative passion to the role and the team.
• You have a talent for Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) and basic video editing. Familiarity with Canva or other design platforms is a plus.
• Photography skills are an advantage and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is essential.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
• You are a recent graduate in Graphic Design Visual Communication or a related field.
• You are ideally already based in the UAE.
• You are highly creative detailoriented and excited to contribute innovative ideas.
• You are available for a 6months to 12 months internship.
