Job summary

Egis in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Graduate Engineer – Wet Utilities to join our Design and Engineering team on-site. This UAE-national program targets recent graduates to begin a career in wet utilities with mentorship from senior engineers.

You will assist in design of water, sewage and drainage networks, prepare drawings in AutoCAD, perform basic calculations, visit sites, and support reports. A mechanical engineering degree and strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of wet utilities systems, including water supply, sewage, and drainage networks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on project planning and execution.
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and monitor project progress.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis related to wet utilities systems.
• Support the preparation of reports, proposals, and other technical documents.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Stay updated on local water regulations and industry best practices.
