Your Role
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support in conducting transport planning and traffic engineering projects.
  • Support the wider team in the preparation of transport and traffic impact assessments, feasibility studies, and mobility plans.
  • Support the project team in the development of transport infrastructure, including road layouts, intersections, pedestrian and cycling facilities, and public transport systems.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other teams to work on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Stay updated on smart mobility, sustainable transport, and UAE Vision 2031 initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning, or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Familiarity with traffic or transport software such as VISSIM, SYNCHRO, HCS, SIDRA, or AutoCAD (advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Basic understanding of transport planning principles, road safety, and sustainable mobility.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Attributes
  • Internship or project experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, or mobility studies.
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as EV infrastructure, autonomous mobility, and smart city transport solutions.
  • Proactive learner with a genuine interest in improving the UAE’s transport systems.
